As I’ve just got to the end of the 1982 episodes of UY it might be worth a look at what else was around on TV that year. And it turns out that 1982 was pretty awesome.

Hey it’s the premise of Love★Com almost 2 decades early!

“Ochame Gami Monogatari Koro Koro Prorin” is actually spelled “Ochame Gami Monogatari Koro Koro Poron” (yes, I think the animenfo entry is wrong)…
It’s a very popular series in italy, where it’s known as “C’era una volta Pollon” (Once upon a time, Pollon) and it’s really something I’d recommend to watch… It’s both really funny and interesting since it (sometimes) faithfully reproduces ancient greek myths…
’82 was really a great year, 4 of my favourite old animes from my childhood are listed here…
Keep up with the great job on reviewing UY!
Yeah, I suspected it was wrong when I was copying it in there, having run across it a few days back when I was trying to track down that UY storyboard artist who I can’t find the Anglicised name for.
However it seems so far off the radar on English sites that I couldn’t find the name last night.
However, I now see it’s listed as “Little Pollon” on wikipedia or “The Story of Little Goddess Roly-Poly Pollon”. I’m guessing Little Pollon is the name Enoki Films try to sell it under.

Here in Spain it’s known as “La pequeña Pollon” (The Little Pollon). Ahh… I really have fond memories of it, and sure it was funny as Hades :)
Thank you for posting this videos, great work!
And please excuse my english ;P
Well, actually in spanish it was spelled “Polon”. I suppose that was because in spanish Pollón means “big d*ck” :)
