And now the Return of The King of m.o.e. trilogy of terrible TV shows set around a terrible TV show.
This is apparently a straight up harem show centred on the aforementioned scriptwriter with whom the underage actresses playing the Cos-prayers fall in love with. Thankfully m.o.e. remembered to make him 17 so that while it is still somewhat creepy that he’s being chased after by 14 year olds (and maybe an 11 year old), they can pretend that technically it isn’t.
m.o.e. produced one more TV show in 2005, before Pony Canyon seemingly decided that producing fetish anime for nerds wasn’t on their agenda anymore and closed the doors of m.o.e.
However the director of these three shows, Takeo Takahashi, remains at large. Unsurprisingly he showed up on the staff of Rozen Maiden and is currently most noted for directing the incredibly over-rated Spice & Wolf shows. Also on those shows was m.o.e. co-conspirator screenwriter Naruhisa Arakawa. Miwa Oshima who was responsible for the look of the shows is still active on similarly wretched shows like Koihime†Muso.
