Pitchfork may be annoyingly hip and pretentious, but their neat habit of putting mp3s, music streams and pop videos up in what they are now calling their Forkcast is a pretty handy way of finding new bands without having to trawl through MySpace or listen to Zane Lowe. They had a cover of The Crystals’ “Then He Kissed Me” by Asobi Seksu up last week that was awesome, so I’ve been checking them out some more. It’s shoegazing music, something my 16 year old self would have been sickened to learn he would be loving in the future.
