This show almost seems like a “me first” product, trying to pre-empt the official adaptation of BunjÅ«rÅ Nakayama & Bow Ditama’s Mahoromatic by making their own story of a robot maid (that would appear in 2001).
The work of serial offender Shinichiro Kimura (Burn Up Excess, Charger Girl Ju-den Chan, Popotan) it’s basically a porn plot, stripped of all the truly pornographic material that plot would seem to demand. The anime equivalent of Nuts magazine. Which is pretty much most of the shows Kimura worked on this decade, so I guess he knows his audience.
