I think the weight of expectation killed this show for me fairly quickly, I watched the first episode with a degree of excitement, probably wanting my world to be shaken the same way Lain had done. It wasn’t and I didn’t watch any more of this. Maybe I should give it another chance, but there’s plenty of other shows that I’d like to watch first.
