Jon The Dog

Thanks to the awesome WFMU’s Beware Of The Blog I’ve now discovered Jon The Dog.

That’d be a 35 year old woman (real name Shoko Uehara) in a dog suit playing a pump organ, then.

Though she used to dress in cow pyjamas.

And play the ukelele.

I highly recommend the Chief Magazine interview below to get an idea where she is coming from. The love of David Lynch seems to make a hell of a lot of sense.
