Back with the knee jerk reactions. Some of these have actually started airing now. But that’s not going to stop me from simply judging them from their websites and staff lists.

Blue Dragon

Hey it’s another TV show based on a video game. Even though it does have Akira Toriyama designs I’m going to guess this will disappoint, as it’s essentially just an advert of an xbox 360 game.

Toward The Terra

Classic sci-fi manga gets a new adaptation (there was film in the 80s). I’m interested in seeing this as the discussion of the manga on AWO recently piqued my interest.

Lucky Star

In which Kyoto Animation are exposed as the shallow, otaku-pandering company they are. Horrid looking moe comedy that is illiciting Azumanga Daioh comparisons. Say what you like about Azumanga Daioh, while it too was essentially a moe show, at least the character designs didn’t assault the eyes like this crap. For Softy Walters only.

Bokurano

GANTZ is an ongoing seinen manga where a group of people are brought together and made to fight “aliens”. There is lots of death. The anime adaptation was by GONZO and was no good as either an show or an adaptation.

Princess Ressurection

Some sort of shonen horror comedy. That appears to be full of maids. So I doubt it’s going to be a GeGeGe no Kitaro.
