I’m going to say there has never been a decent anime made from a video game. This anime based on the latest in SEGA’s Shining series is unlikely to rectify that.

NHK try to capture lightning in this adaptation of Lucy Maud Montgomery’s novels. Hey, NHK! Anne of Green Gables was almost 30 years ago, had Isao Takahata directing it and the characters didn’t look like malformed trolls.

Guardian of the Sacred Spirit
New Production IG show by the director of Ghost In The Shell SAC. Going against popular opinion, I found those shows to be dull as ditchwater and generally quite stilted.

Ah, while I’m totally not the target audience, I am a sucker for animated romantic comedies. While this is clearly aimed at a different audience to late night fare like Honey & Clover, I’ll probably still check it out.
