A name familiar from my Urusei Yatsura write ups shows up here, Junji Nishimura (his ANN profile seems light of 90s projects, any idea of what’s up with that?). Still working at Studio Deen he turns in this adaptation of Akimine Kamijo’s manga. As good as he was at episode direction, his Ranma work left me unconvinced me at his ability to handle a whole series.
