Hey you! You know who you are. You’re the person who loved “Giant Robo: The Day The Earth Stood Still”!
Well I have some good news for you, Yasuhiro Imagawa’s take on Go Nagai’s Mazinger franchise, is shaping up to be just as good. Remember when he started Change!! Getter Robo, before being dumped/leaving the series, well this may give us what remained unrealised there.
Much like his Giant Robo, rather than throwing plot and exposition at you in the first episode, Imagawa throws characters and battles at you instead, with little to no explanation. And it is AWESOME~!
I’ve watched this episode three times already. It’s that good.
